Jokebox
Year of production: 2010-2011
Company: Kotoc
TASKS:
Episodes: I worked in about 7 episodes.
Episodes: I worked in about 7 episodes.
PREVIS / LAYOUTS: I worked quite close to the director of the series. I had to animate all the cameras (final animation) and the characters (very roughly).
I had a pre-recording audio of all the characters dialogues and it was quite useful to make the right timings of every shot. It was like doing a storyboard in 3D where I had to put all the assets in the scenes and build the layout as well. It was a very interesting way to do previs...

Van Dogh
Year of production: 2009
Company: Motion Pictures
TASKS:
Episodes: End of the episodes.
Episodes: End of the episodes.
ANIMATION: I did a few generic shots for the ending of the episodes. I had to animate at 12 frames per second, instead of 25. The idea was to use the same shots for all the episodes and reduce the render times.

Pumpkin Reports
Year of production: 2009
Company: Motion Pictures
TASKS:
Episodes: I worked in the pilot.
Episodes: I worked in the pilot.
ANIMATION: I did the animation of almost half episode, from the middle until the end. I had to animate at 12 frames per second instead of 25 because they wanted to reduce the render times and to get a more 2D traditional animation feeling.
MODELING: I modeled all the backgrounds of the episode and all the props. I had good concept designs so it was a less creative job for me.

Sincopats
Year of production: 2008
Company: Tomavistas
TASKS:
Episodes: Pre-production.
Episodes: Pre-production.
MODELING: I worked on the modeling of the main character. I had to match the 2D concept design as accurate as possible. The model had to be render in Toon shader and the goal was to create a character where you don't know if it is 3D or 2D.

Asha
Year of production: 2007-2008
Company: Cromosoma
TASKS:
Episodes: I worked in the whole serie.
Episodes: I worked in the whole serie.
MODELING: I modeled all the characters of the series (about 51 different characters, including the main one). They had to be rendered in Toon shader so I modeled the characters to get a good result with toon shader (2D look). Fortunately they gave me good concept designs in two views (front and profile)
Some examples of the 51 models I made in 3D according to the 2D concepts.

Markus
Year of production: 2006-2007
Company: Myself
TASKS:
Episodes: Pilot.
Episodes: Pilot.
PRODUCER, DIRECTOR, WRITER: I am the owner and creator of this project. I started with a script, then in the pre-production I built the assets, I made the storyboards and an animatic. When I started the production, animating the characters, I got some colaborations from professionals (a musician and actors for the voices) and I finished the pilot with the quality I wanted.

Ted Vision
Year of production: 2004-2005
Company: Lion Toons
TASKS:
Episodes: I worked in two pilots.
Episodes: I worked in two pilots.
ANIMATION: I did the animation of about ten shots with this character. It was quite fun to animate because I had to play with a more cartoony style. Unfortunately, they never get any funding or a partner to continue with the series.

Lacets
Year of production: 2004
Company: Traumatic Studio
TASKS:
Episodes: Pre-production.
Episodes: Pre-production.
MODELS and TEXTURES: I modeled many of the main characters and I did the textures as well. They gave me concept designs in three views for each character. That was the first project where I used for the first time Softimage XSI and it was like a payed training.

Kumba Park
Year of production: 2000-2002
Company: Virtual Toons Factory
TASKS:
Episodes: I worked in about 12 episodes.
Episodes: I worked in about 12 episodes.
ANIMATION: I animated plenty of shots with all the characters. We used the old Softimage 3D 3.8 and every animator was in charge to render his own shots.
In the company we had no FX department and every animator had to do the FX as well. The backgrounds were made by another company and we delivered the renders with blue chroma.
MODELS, RIGS and TEXTURES: I modeled, rigged and textured plenty of characters and props. I was the only texturer.

Adivina Adivinanza
Year of production: 1999
Company: Gestmusic Endemol
TASKS:
Episodes: Random TV shows.
Episodes: Random TV shows.
CARTOONS (2D ANIMATION): The company gave me a list with a phrase and a rough sketch for each one. The competitors of the TV contest had to guess the popular phrase through cartoons and most of the time had to be animated (usually was two or three different poses of a character). I drawed and scanned the cartoons and I colored them with photoshop. Usually I animated different parts of the cartoons with a program called Director and I delivered uncompressed quicktimes in PAL to the company.
